Cancellation Policy
At Heyday Activities & Events, we are committed to providing meaningful and dependable companionship experiences for older adults. To maintain fairness and ensure availability for all our clients, we have established the following booking policy for our Activity Companion Services: Booking & Payment All services must be booked in advance through our website or by phone. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment. You will receive a confirmation email with service details once your booking is completed. Cancellations Standard Cancellation: We understand plans change. You may cancel your appointment up to 48 hours in advance for a full refund or to reschedule at no additional cost. Late Cancellation: If you cancel within 24–48 hours of your scheduled appointment, a 50% service fee will be retained. Same-Day Cancellation/No-Show: Appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, or missed without notice, are non-refundable. Rescheduling You may reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours in advance without penalty. Rescheduling within 24–48 hours may incur a $52 rescheduling fee, subject to availability. Same-day reschedule requests will be treated as late cancellations and are not guaranteed. Late Arrivals Time lost due to client tardiness cannot be made up or credited. Recurring Services If you have a recurring or weekly schedule, we require one week’s notice for cancellations or changes. Repeated cancellations or schedule changes may result in loss of reserved time slots. Companion Illness or Emergency In the rare event your assigned companion is unable to attend due to illness or emergency, we will notify you immediately and offer to reschedule or refund your session. Refunds & Credits Refunds (when applicable) will be processed to your original payment method within 7 business days. Credits for rescheduled appointments must be used within 60 days of the original booking date. Please note: Services that have already been rendered are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.
